The Resident Evil 4: Afterlife is an upcoming fiction horror science 3D action film written and directed by Paul WAS Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller, Kim Coates, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe and Shawn Roberts. This is the fourth installment of a series of film adaptations based loosely on the Capcom survival horror video game Resident Evil series. It is also the first film in the series to be released in 3D. The film is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX 3-D theaters September 10, 2010.

Resident Evil: Afterlife- in the search for Alice films and rescue of survivors remaining in Los Angeles of the T-virus outbreak, all paired against Albert Wesker, head of the Umbrella Corporation. In May 2005, producers have raised the possibility of following Resident Evil: Extinction with a sequel entitled Afterlife. The Extinction was released in 2007 and was a box office success of incentive Afterlife begins development in June 2008 and with the script written by Anderson in December. The elements of Resident Evil 5 have been integrated into the film.
