In a press release, B.R Gandhi also a well known vastu consultant has said, ‘Good lighting is an essential part of any house interior design scheme, changing the lights or even a bulb can transform interior of a room without extensive and expensive redecorating.”

In press release, B.R Gandhi has said, “A traditional lighting system consists of overhead light and table lamps, these are not good if you need bright worker light or soft romantic mood light in an interior. But today the lighting industry has developed leaps a bonds and wide verities of lights for every mood and decor is available for all type of interiors.’

B.R Gandhi has added, “While lighting is highly versatile decorative medium, it must also be functional. Firstly you will have to decide which light has to perform which task in an interior e.g. working space light, study light, normal lighting, romantic mood light, high lighters etc. and accordingly the light fixture are to be selected.

In press release, B.R Gandhi has further said, “Normally our living room lighting is too flat cold and it seems very unfriendly. A relaxing interior atmosphere requires soft, indirect light without any dramatic effect, but if you don’t want to change your lighting and still want relaxing interior atmosphere have bright soft color curtains e.g. have blue green color this gives a very soothing effect in the room and the reflection produced changes the room effect.

In the press release, B.R Gandhi has advised, “Thirty three percentage of our time is spend in the bedroom either sleeping, dressing, working or reading hence two type of atmosphere is required in bedroom one could be in form of normal florescent light behind the bed for reading purpose and the other romantic mood light in form of yellow light wall bracelet or table lamps.”
